Default large cams in stock cubes

If you are running a cam larger than ~236/236 what are you running and other than going to a different spring, I have 921's in the motor now, what changes to the valve train did you do?

I'm running over that but only on the exhaust side. All I changed as far as valvetrain was Comp 918's w/ Ti retainers and hardened pushrods...no issues after 8K daily driven miles

What cam are you thinking of running?

I run a big cam with Patriot Golds.

Right now the front runner is the Trex. The motor is coming apart soon for forged bottom end so the 236/230 is coming out and something bigger is going in. I made good power with the current cam but it is time to step it up and see how far the ported LS1 heads will go. I have been looking and have seen only a couple larger than 236/236 so I just wanted to know what people were running with stock cubes and larger cams than mine.

244/248 here. Your best net is the PRC duals, Patriot golds, or the Comp 921's.
