Default Camcraft Camshafts

I was just wondering if anyone on here is running a camcraft cam. I am looking at buying one used with around 900 miles and a set of comp springs for $300. The specs on the cam are 220I 224E 580I 568E. I am new to cams so any help would be appreaciated. I know I will still need to get hardened pushrods. Thanks

Nick

Richard has been around quite awhile. He has good equipment and uses good cores.

What kind of power could I expect with this cam and the normal bolt on parts?

Well I think I just sold my Acura so thats money to go towards this cam. Does anyone else have any info or could give me a rough estimate on the kind of power this cam will produce and the effective rpm range. Thanks

Tex,
If this is "LD's" cam. It is a very nice street cam. I drove the car for a quick tune, and it had very nice manors. As chris had noted, Richard uses very nice cores, and has a handle on the lobes for the newer stuff.

Note, Headers would help this stick a good bit.

Thanks

BTW: just guessing on the Delaine part. If it is not, disregard. I assumed this being that you are from York.

No the cam is comming out of Dwayne's 00 Z28. I went for a ride in his z28 today and he has the same bolt ons as I do but that cam made a difference. I think that cam with some LT's would be a good start.
