What do you think Tony? Does that sound like an adequate setup?
I think your CR calculation is off if you aren't doing valve reliefs. You may want to recheck if this is the case.

Also, how will this fare with a 224/228 .581/.588 112 cam

Thanks
As a suggestion, go with AFR's milled .024", a cometic .040" gasket, and a 224/228 .581"/.588" 114lsa +1. It's a killer combo that will put you over 410rwhp with tons of low end torque and you won't have to notch, and you can run 93 pump gas all day long. A freind of mine has that in his vette and it's sweet. It's been easy to tune, much easier than my 112 and there is a little wider power band. Keep that quench tight and the DCR up there.

Where's that envelope - I'm pushing it:

G5X2 - 232/240&.595/.608 with 114LSA with 59cc AFR 205s along with Cometic .040

http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/compstaticcalc.html

This is the correct link

The other doesn't account for the piston OUT of hole situation which should be entered as a negative value.

Why not just run our 224/228 proven combination??

It will easily make the power you are looking for, especially if you mill the heads for additional CR. There are dozens of independent results with that cam making the power you are looking for.

Is 11.5:1 to high?

I know a lot of people like to stay between 10.9-11.2.

Cuz my 228*-230*-112* with .630"-.580" makes more power...
