Being on 00 do you still have the LS1 intake? If so, you may want to look into the LS6 intake ( can be had cheap now that Fast 90's are selling like hotcakes ) along with the better LS6 PCV system. Combine that with a catch can.

yes I am still running the LS1 intake, however, i did away with all of the smog crap and put a freeze plug where the EGR should go

id start with a catch can and see how much is going threw the pcv system and also keep an eye on the oil level not wait for the light. do you drive at high rpms usally? this will also use more oil. just some stuff for you to look at .

well I dont normally drive at high rpm's. Depending on where I am going, I usually cruise around 2k, or less, but I do take it down the drag strip though. I am still waiting for my breather to get here too.....

thanks for the thread...I have yet to have time to check out my intake to see if there is oil in there. Whats funny is it just started doing this about 3,000 miles after the rebuild. I put new rings in it, so I am going to do the breather, see if that works......
