Who's useing Patriot stage III head?
I have a 05 aluminum LS2 418cid. ready to go in, but i need a set of heads . I've been looking at Patriot LS6 stage III heads with 64cc chambers with 2.08" intake valves 1.60" exhaust valve, fully cnc ported flow 322 at .600 lift .They seem to be a nice set of heads for there price $1395.00 to the door with a 4 week turn around ,Is there any body out there useing them and are they happy with them. Going to order a set of heads Monday morning, need some help .

Feel free tp get mad at me Patroit fan or Gunner yourself but I am only stating my own oponion.
Throwing a set of PP heads on a 422 cubic inch LS2 is like throwing a 3.8L V6 in a Vette.
Why have a real nice bottomend and a decent set of heads?
I would look into something better, not saying PP makes bad heads but there are better heads out there. Check out AFR ET Performance, TEA, Trick Flow, etc.

Ya, from what i have seen ,Patriot heads is a nice head for the money and any thing close to them is around a 1000.00 more. And i cant see Patiot heads being that bad as JZ'sTA said or Patiot would be out of business, and if i had the money i would build the biggest and badest motor ever built but im not that rich yet.

Running those exact heads on my 402, but mine are milled .020"
I don't have any reports yet as I am not fully broken in, but everything seems great with the heads. Gunnar was GREAT when it came to customer service as well.

If you spent all that money on the Aluminum 418 and then you go and put a cheap *** set of Patriots on there then you are a dumbass... Like everyone else has said, the Patriots are good heads for the money, but they aren't good heads for big motors. I have yet to see a 408cid+ engine make good power with Patriot heads. Vann aka Z'MonyPit is only making 440rwhp with his 408 and Patriot Stage 3 LS6 heads.. thats pathetic in my book.

It really depends on whether cost is the deciding factor in your heads decision. If you can afford more, your certainly gonna get more out of better heads. I'd spend a little more and get the AFR 225s or ETP 11 degree 245s. If you can't afford 2500-2700 for heads, look at the PRC (Texas Speed) stge 4R heads. These are their own castings, I believe, and look great, too.

Pathetic, well, whats pathetic about a car that puts down under 400rwhp and gets into the low 11'z all day long? What do you think he'll do with that pathetic 422, unlocked brotha?!
You gave no inclination for help so you have every right to get smacked around, and dropped squeezing your ankles.
Im not defending the original pster though i felt that your words are un called for and some what indicative of your cognitive abilities.
Those heads DO very well for their price and they shouldn;t be over looked becuz they aren't the most expensive or most sought-after.

I talk to ben at G-Force, mine flowed alittle better than this set. They where flowed at LME. So I trust there results. The thing about a stroker is the power down low. See how these heads flow so well lower in the rpm range. Please, I`m not a basher of any heads. You pay for what you want to get. I trully believe also, if you have spent the money on a good stroker, spend it on the heads. Good luck with your choice, let us know how it goes.
