Default Is it neccessary to...???

I just checked all my pushrods because I thought I had some bent ones. Well they all look good. But I was wondering if it was neccessary to turn the crank bolt 90* when tightening the rocker bolts to 22 ft lbs?

I always torque them then rotate the crank and re-torque them. Can't hurt.

if you just pulled off your rockers and checked them....you can just put them back on and torque them down. and you will be good to go!

I would definately do it. You may find that after turning the engine the rocker for the valve that was all the way open needs to be tightened down again to get to 22 ft lb. Besides, its not like it even takes a long time.
