Awesome... what kind of setup are they going on? I was surprised to see inside the port what loosk like ridges... but hey, if they flow like stated above who cares. Is it me or are the plug holes not tapped yet? They look like they are smooth, no threading in them.

An awesome piece of work for sure.

Setup is a 395ci (4.125x3.7)
Solid Roller
Dry Sumped
little 101mm Precision Thumper
Nothing Special

The flash really made the ridges look alot bigger then they really are, they look like every other CNC head I have seen. and yes the Spark Hole's have threads just hard to see in the picture

Some people believe some tooling marks/roughness in the intake port is beneficial....at least thats what Ive heard.

What size valve stems? Are you coating anything? What pistons does it match to? And what compression, static and dynamic?

Thanks,

David

Why does it say 382cfm intake and 242cfm exhaust @ .700 for a 4.100" bore on their site? Why aren't yours flowing more with a 4.125 bore? Whats the difference in set-ups?

BTL FED, what are you gunna use for valve covers? In the first pic, you can see how the rockers stick out over the valve cover railing. My 265/Jesels do the same thing and I was wondering if you had fitted any brand in particular over the rockers? I want a set of NastyNate's, but It just dosen't look right for some reason.

Sweet setup... What shop do you deal with in DFW or do you do everything yourself? Nice setup again.

I dont know what size valve stems sorry, the pistons will be coated, I havent decieded what pistons I am going to run yet, Static compression should fall somewhere around 9.2 to 1, I dont know the dynamic compression yet.

I had them build the heads for boost, so I wasnt really worried about the flow numbers as much as someone that was running a N/A motor, I dont know what the difference is but I am more than happy with the way they flow now

Thanks nate, I decided I couldnt meet my goals for the car with nitrous, I still have the Intake with the 2 stage fogger on it, but as of right now it is on a buddies car we are going for the nitrous record with.

I dont know what valvecovers I am going to run yet I have a set of nate's sheetmetal, but they dont fit the way they are, I may be able to modify them to work, but I am not sure yet, I have been too busy with work to mess with the car any lately

I do all my own work, HPP has been helping me with my turbo setup, manny is the man when it comes to turbo's.

You copying me or something I didn't realize you were from the DFW area..me too. I'm also building a 396, ET heads...245's though, with a thumper turbo.

Set up looks nice. I'll have to come check it out one day.

I think you need to change the name of the project to "project 7's or bust"

On a side note, who is doing all you machine work?

That's exactlly what I needed to know. Hopefully when he gets a set, he'll make a set to clear them. I'm gunna shoot him a PM and see what he thinks can be done.

Intake numbers were WAY pushed to make sales me thinks.
Exhaust side looks great. No doubt, this is a very nice setup and is done right.

Mildly ported LS7 heads are looking very nice though.

Every ET head I've seen on a bench to date has flow'd at or above the advertised numbers. Without knowing the flow technique used in both applications, it's hard to compare. I'm not saying your wrong, because what you say happens every day, I'm just pointing out what I've come across in many threads about these heads inparticular.

BTL FED, I sent Nate some specs and he is gunna see what he can do about "bubbling" the top area to clear the rockers.
