Default Help with CAM pick?

I have a TSP225, and just sold it to a friend. I ordered a Futral F6 112lsa I hope I made the right choice with my new pick. I haven't even started the car yet and I am already swaping cams. Setup as follows: 01 LS1 with T56
LS6 intake, 241 heads stage 1 TEA Milled 0.030,
Cometic 0.040 Head Gaskets
intake exhaust
.100 71.0 52.6
.200 136.4 109.2
.300 207.2 159.1
.400 249.1 203.8
.500 280.1 230.8
.550 288.5 239.2
.600 291.1 245.2

FM-F6-112 FMS Custom Grind Camshaft - 226"/230" .575"/.595" 112LSA

Also 1 7/8 LT's, 2.5 true dual exhaust without cats, SLP Maf, Ported TB, Billet flwheel, LS2 timing chain, Ported LS6 oil pump, ARP rod Bolts, 4:10 gears, and ASP pulley.Maybe I am forgetting something.

HOW much power should I make? And Did I make the right CAM choice?

Forgot Too mention the Car is a 1993 Rx-7

It is a good cam, maybe 10 rwhp more than the TSP 225.

I would still check to make sure since your head is milled and you are using a thinner gasket.
Better be safe than sorry, it is dificult to say " you told me so" once something goes wrong.

Anybody else with Cam suggestions for my setup? Looking for good power that pulls to 7000rpm but no Cam surge, and I don't need alot of low end torque because the car only weighs 2800pds.

Still looking for suggestions, as of right now I can still change my cam selection because Cam motion is on a 3 week delay thanks to the new core designing.

Also PTV clearance on cam selection has to be addressed because my heads are milled 0.030 and I am using 0.040 gaskets. Should I go with a reverse split Cam like this one 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA
Anybody

With that mill and .040 gasket, you might be able to squeeze a 228 in there but you would have to measure.
224 range is more like it.

So what cam would you be suggesting? Remeber the heads still have stock valves.

The 225 you sold would've fit I believe.
Call TSP and ask about their 228R
Or Thunder about their 227

Anybody know if this combo will work? PTV clearance is the problem.
241 heads stage 1 TEA Milled 0.030, stock valves
Cometic 0.040 Head Gaskets
226"/230" .575"/.595" 112LSA
From what I know, no one would have a problem figuring out wether that this cam and these heads would work together except for the fact that I have thinner head gaskets. Will 0.014 thickness in the gasket really make that much difference?

I called TEA a few days ago, and they said anything below 228 duration on the intake side would be fine. They also said that they have guys running 232/232 duration with there Stage 1 241 head, that don't have a problem with the PTV clearance. So even though I have thinner Head gaskets my duration on the intake or exhaust 226/230 won't be a problem. So needless to say I am sticking with my pick Futral F6.
