I am an Amsoil direct dealer. If anyone is interested please let me know and I can get you whatever you want. I'll post some prices up asap.

I have a few 30 gallon drums on site to support our in-house work but I would be glad to get you guys hooked on the Amsoil. They also make air filters now too that we are going to try out.

The Ea A83 is probably the best air filter for our stock/lid f body airboxes. It flows almost as well as the gauze/oiled deals, costs the same or less (than the "MAF oilers"), filters MUCH better, is cleanable/reuseable, and NO oil to f'up your MAF or intake. It's real hard to beat Donaldson technology!

How about that post about the rust in the engine. That doesn't sound good. Did the oil cause that? I am thinking about getting some. Is everyone going with the 5-40 instead of the 5-30? Which is best? I am mainly trying to quiet my piston slap and valvetrain noise.

What about 10w-40? Does anyone run that? I might be interested in switching to an Amsoil 10w-40 since I can't find any Mobil 1 in a 10W-40

Well, Amsoil has independent test data to back them up. i dont see anyone else stepping up to the plate.

Every other brand claims they are the best but amsoil is th eonly one who proved it. I now have it in my motor, trans and diff.

I have been running the amsoil extended change 25k miles in my car and truck with their ea series filters for the last two years. Awesome stuff I have been using it for the last ten years. It's just in the last couple I switched to their ext change. My dealer here from cs died a couple of weeks ago so I'm on the hunt again.
