2002 Corvette
-A4 Tranny
-2.73 gears
-B&B Short Tube Headers & Bullet Exhaust
-Intake
I don't want the car shutting off at red lights.
I don't want to EVER get rid of the 2.73 gears.
I don't want my engines idle speed to be any higher than around 900 rpm.
I don't want to have to constantly maintain the valvetrain.
I plan on FI one day, and would like at least a little more exhaust duration than intake.
Car is street driven, not tracked.
I don't care how loud it is.
I would probably also add some low cost heads, like the $900 ls6 heads that TSP has on their website.
Please give me some cam suggestions, as well as reasons why you recomend the particular cam. Thanks!

Thunder Racing Custom "CheaTR" Camshaft - 214/230 .601/.578 117 LSA. Off Idle-6800 RPM Power Band. Broad power range. Works well with stock exhaust manifolds and catalytic converters. Stock like idle. Minor tuning required on automatic transmission cars. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Double valve springs and titanium retainers required for this cam.

Take a look at the cam in my sig, it idles well with the stock converter and pulls hard up to 6500.
The reason I picked this cam was because of the mild profile, less wear and tear on the rest of the valvetrain.

What rpm does your car idle at?
