T-REX cam questions
You'll need a double roller timing chain (you have to grind down a few things to make it fit), ported ls6 oil pump, new lifters which will require pulling the heads so you will also need new head bolts and head gaskets, all the cam bolts and cam gaskets, 4000 converter, 3.73 gears.
I was going to go this way but when I saw all the **** I had to do I decided I might as well do I head swap. Now its going to be the MS3 and stage 2 5.3L heads. Whatever you decide to do, good luck.

First, with stock tires and 4.11's at 70 mph he'de be around 4200 rpms.
Second, i have 4.10's, th350 and get 240-250 miles per tank (98 tank at that, one gallon smaller)
Third, you don't need a double roller. I HATE double rollers and think they are WAY overkill (and you don't have to grind anything to make them fit). Don't need an oil pump, don't need lifters.
First, someone with 4.10s PMed me and told me he cruised at 3000rpms in OD @ 70mph when I was considering 4.10s instead of 3.73s, maybe he had an M6 now that you say he will be at RPM instead.
Second, that is the miles per tank this individual claimed to get.
Third, you might not NEED the double roller, but I would much rather spend the extra money for peace of mind. You DO have to grind **** down for it to fit, and you SHOULD at least go with an LS6 oil pump with the TREX, and depending on what mileage his car is, replacement OEM lifters or another aftermarket lifter would be a good idea. You are spinning the hell out of the motor with that cam.
You have to remember, with the TRex you will be spinning close to 7000rpms EVERYTIME you want to get the most power out of this cam. If you want to be cheap about it and skip out on all the above mentioned stuff, go for it. But everytime you hear your engine wind up to almost 7k rpms you better get used to your ******* puckering up to the thought of something breaking. I'd do it for the peace of mind if I were you. Its what, $500 more bucks? I'd do it right the first time if I were you.
I'm only going MS3 and am doing the double roller, LS6 oil pump, and new lifters. You might as well do it if you're going to be in there.

And on everything else yeah it depends on the milage your car has on it. My motor has maybe 70k miles and all i'm adding with the Trex is springs and pushrods (was gonna use stockers but got a good deal on some 7.425's). I put an LS2 chain and ARP rod bolts in when i installed the motor about 12k miles ago.
