Oil in the main bearing cap boss hole? You would thing that oil would have squirted out when the main cap was put in place. How do you diagnose that one and even if you do guess it right you have to tear down the bottom end to prove it.

Ok, lets pretend he didn't have an oil pressure problem and he has this ticking sound. I have a ticking noise that sounds like a failing lifter. It will randomly start ticking and then after about 20 seconds it stops ticking. It's outrageously louder than a normal high lift cam ticking. I want to say that the lifters are taking a crap, (the place that did my work didn't change them like I asked....Thanks TTP)

Not sure about the Comps, but the Morels are packed with a grease when new. It may be that it will take time to get all the pretective grease out of them. 50 miles isn't much, maybe you should run it a bit and see what happens. I agree though, 20 psi at idle with a new LS6 pump is not right.

i just got the new motor running and have the same lifters and pump.im seeing ~30-35 at idle when up to temps,~60psi cold start and when i slowly accelerate it goes up to 50-60 psi.The valvetrain is rather loud though i will agree.
