Do I have an LS6 intake? PIC inside... When I purchased my 2000 WS6 last summer, it was advertised to have an LS6 intake on it. I'm not so sure it does now. The reason I am concerned is that I noticed at the Year One Experience this weekend that any 2001+ F-body or Vette had no EGR or AIR (not sure which it is) hookup on the intake. Mine appears to have one that is blocked off. The blocked off hookup in question is on the top front of the intake right behind the throttle body.

SLP makes a LS6 intake with an EGR hookup, it could be one of those. The only way i know how to tell is by taking off the intake and if the bottom is flat then its a LS6 and if the bottom has a curve then its a LS1 intake.
Im sure somebody else knows a way to do it w/o taking the manifold off

Thats an LS1 intake. The SLP egr-modded LS6 intake simply uses a piece of brass fitting that screws into a hole in that little recess, the LS6 intake doesn't have the reatiner bolt hole.
Hard to explain, but what you have is an LS1 intake.
There are several different part numbers for LS6 intakes.

Well I just checked the part number and it is: 12573572 so according the PN list, it is an LS6 intake.

That part number does come up as an LS6 Intake, but none were made outside of SLP with EGR and yours has a plug in it signaling EGR. Weird. I guess yours could be an SLP one with the EGR blocked off.
