Default LS1 Speed Blocks

Hey Everyone, I was looking at the lonblocks from Ls1 speed and they seem to be a pretty good deal so I think Im going to go with that block, it includes your choices of heads, cam, and comes with all that good stuff. Do you think this is a good deal? it is a stock cube motor but I want to get all my power from spary or boost anyways. Thnaks for the help.

There are tons of companies that can build you a longblock. Search around for the best communication and the fastest to ship motors. Its not worth 100 bucks to have a motor at somebody's shop for a month longer than I would have waited knowing I was getting a quality block for a little bit more.

LME is the master at forced induction motors. Not the cheapest, just the most reliable and longest lasting (two most important factors in my opinion) and always able to answer your questions. Never seen a problem with their company.

Cheapest is not always better.
LME has good prices for parts used, and Bryan is really good to deal with.
They are building my nitrous 370 (6.0 L) as we speak.

TSP has pretty good deals also (It came real close choosing between the 2)

I really like ls1speed. That is where my forged 347 will come from.

I would say W2W should be inserted for what you said about LME, not that LME is bad by any means. I just think that since W2W has built all of the really hp motors they should be the "master of forced induction engines."

Speed inc is great, they will work hard to make sure you get what you need. Best GM fuel injected performance source in the midwest in my opinion. Its also nice having them a half hour away. They have many many cars out proving their quality and know how. They will not dissapoint you!
