valve springs how long will they last?
Ive got a set of patriot duals that are starting to make a little more noise than when i installed them ive got about 20k miles on them now someone told me about every 20 they needed to be changed is this true?

Yes, Please let us know what kind of cam. 20K miles worth of hard driving is going to take its toll on a spring even on a small cam. Contact gunnar@patriot and he'll ship you out a set of replacement coils so you dont have to buy a whole new kit. I just got mine a couple months ago from gunnar and youll be pleasantly surprised how little he wants for them. Once you get them, pop out the cylinder 1 plug (or all of them) and find TDC. Then use the TDC method from the ls1howto cam swap article. Put a dot of whiteout on the crank pulley so you can use that as a reference for every 90* turn. Shouldnt take more than a couple hours to swap the valvesprings.
