Default torquer II and everyday driver

What do you guys think of a torquer II and my everyday driver 400 miles city miles per week. Is it doo much cam for only a 3200 stall and 3.23 gears?? I was also kind of thinking of a TR224. Let me know guys.

I suggest a custom cam to fit your heads and compression.

I have a Torquer 1 with stock heads, 3.23 gears with a 3500 stall. I love it as my daily driver.
Go for it.

It is not that you can't use it, it just will be a dog with trq below 3500 rpm.
You stock compression makes the cam have a ver low DCR and it doesn't kick *** untill higher in the rpms.
Trust me I own a Trqr V2 cam

Funny you should ask that. I'm getting a new 6.0 forged and i'm putting that cam back in but with 11.45 SCR and 8.58 DCR (59.83 cc)
Mine is on a 113+0

What is yours?

I think it will do well in a 6.0 if you get the DCR above 8.5. Truly it will be the TORQUER it is called.

112 i keep it tight, was going ot go with the 110 specd but didnt feel like chancing P/V or waiting figured a 112lsa would help with the DCR some

also running 410s to help it along with the torque

Yeah it will perform. Better with juice since juice will raise cylinder pressures.
If you could raise the DCR to 8.5 you could gain another 10>15 rwhp.

so the term torquer will really come thru on the juice along with the 410s

The 4:10 will get in the powerband quicker, and the juice will give a shitload of trq.
So yeah it will be a juiced Torquer.

Depending on the piston deck height it hovers around 7.95>8.0x
These are the VEs
0.050
232/234,112 LSA/108 ICL

8>IVO
44>IVC
53>EVO
1>EVC
116>ECL
9>* overlap @ .050

So it will peak around 6300, the 53 EVO will not give it good trq down low and it is very exhaust biased so it will be a sharp peak with rapid fall after peak. Big split from TDC on IVO and EVC.
Not the ideal for stock heads but will make peak numbers (still shy of what a cam with this duration can really make).
