My car just died
Hi guys!
I was out on a high speed test when the car just died. Just lika you run out of gas. I have a spark and fuel pressure in the rails. But it wont start! The only code on my DIC is "P0343" Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Circuit High Voltage . Whats wrong? I cant see any damage on the cabels or anything. Is the Cam sensor broken?
Richard

You have to pull the intake manifold to change it and/or look at it to check it...chances are if you have that code then its the sensor thats faulty. Also check the wiring to the sensor. If the PCM detects that the cam signal is stuck high, when the signal should be low for 1.5 seconds, it will throw that code.

i have the same problem... i put in a new cam and that's the only code that has been showing up since. I replaced the sensor, but it still doesnt work, checkd all the wiring and everything looks ok, but still have the code.. so i know what your going thru. my car will start, though it runs like ****!
