Do you notice a nice performance difference?
I'm going to be putting my 230/232 580/580 110 cam in this week, and i was told repeatedly not to have my buddy port my heads... that it could really kill the power actually...
so what kinda results do you get?

The problem is that my headers dident get here till today so I was driving aroung with my stock manafolds on and I still noticed a big power increase and its not even tuned! My buddy also was a former crew chief on a IHRA pro mod team and ported heads b4 that so he has some experience.

hmmm... well i know this guy i'm takling about has a lot of experience porting heads, but not specifically LS1 heads.... and some ppl have been all over me about lettin him touch the engine... so i dunno what to do.... i had pretty much written off him porting them, but i've been seein more and more ppl that have been doing it themselves... although, its not worth the labor cost to do it if it only nets me a whopping 5-10 whp... i'd say spending that money on suspension will be more beneficial
