New valve seals? You mentioned PR's twice? You're not getting new retainers? You're going to use an under drive crank and alt pully? I thought that was recommended against.

- You have all your gaskets, shims, extra keepers, oil pickup tube o-ring?
- Headgaskets?
- What kind of head bolts are you going to use?
- Titanium retainers, seats, seals?
- Longer bolt for your UD pulley?, to make reassembly easy.
- How about rod bolts, so you can spin this cam to 6800-7000.

if you have all ur gaskets and the 921 kit the only thing I can think of is a longer crank pulley bolt for the install and a new one to put back in. You'll also need to go to Home depot and get a few metal dowel rods to hold the lifters up if your doing the install w/ the heads still on. Go to LS1howto.com and read about the cam swap there. It'll answer all ur questions. Ohh yeah, you'll need an LS1 specific spring compressor. Call up Thunder Racing, they'll set u up with one.

I'd use wooden dowel rods, the metal ones will scrape shavings off inside the motor, probably not much to do anything, but I'd rather not do it.

You don't have to pull the heads to do a cam install. A wooden dowel will splinter much easier than a metal dowel will have shavings come off of it. Just throw a bit of oil on them if ur worried. Metal is definitely the preferred way to go.

You really need to read this man: http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=23

No, you dont. A stock crank bolt will be sufficient, but it has to be a new one. If you dont want to do the dowels you can get 16 pen magnets and stick down the pushrod holes.

The lifters can only be removed if you take the heads off.... I wouldn't recommend changing lifters unless you have a bad one, or are swapping heads.
