Default HELP! No Tach RPM Display on Cluster after H/C/I install!?!?

I've got a slight problem that I cannot figure out... The car got new heads, cam swap, and a FAST90+NW90 all installed by myself, over the last two weeks. I do have headers installed, and of course had to swing them down and out of the way in order to swap out the heads. Car was working 100% fine before the install (had just headers & a smaller cam before).

Turned the key tonight for the first time. Started right up, hooray!! 224 camshaft, so its spending a bit of time getting the idle to smooth out.

The problem, however, is that I now do not have any RPM display on my instrument cluster.

DTC P0342 "Camshaft Position Sensor Low Voltage" was tripped.

Oil pressure, temp, battery all work. The Tach is dead.

WHERE, oh WHERE could I have botched something to no longer have an RPM signal? Aarrrrrrrrrgh! I've check the obvious grounds....but tracing my steps thru the install, I cannot picture where in any of those steps would I have messed with an RPM-sensor related item..???

HELP!

Car is an '02 Firehawk, M6.

Did you unplug the cam sensor during this swap?? Most of the time the low voltage code is from something left unpluged.

Yes, double check the Cam Sensor and you should be good unless the cam has backed out or something.

I had heard from the SDPC guys that the depth of the cam gear in relation to the cam sensor is super critical on the LS2's and that this type of problem has been experienced before. Are you using a stock or aftermarket cam gear?

Yep, I'm a moron. Sure enough, the connector to the CPS was disconnected, and I neglected to reattach it prior to bolting down the FAST. I could 'feel' the connector by reaching my skinny arms back there. I suppose that's what happens when completing the 2-week long installation, spanning approx 40 labor hours in the evenings/night after the li'l ones go to bed...

Well, time to go out and unbolt the FAST to make that one last connection.
