Default Factory Engine Oil Cooler ???

I noticed on my F-Body road race car that it has a GM engine oil cooler. To the best of my knowledge; I don't think that they ever came with a remote mounted engine oil cooler. Does anyone know what GM car or truck came with an aluminum block with to hard ( screwed to engine right above the oil filter) 2- 1/2 inch aluminum lines coming out of the block going to 2 rubber lines(around 30 inches) with 8 an fittings on both ends? I crimped one of the hard lines taking out my drivers header and would like to replace it with the same setup. Thanks in advance.

I assume it is a 03 or newer Escalade or SS Silverado.

Do you know if a block off plate is available to delete the oil cooler? My application will not be needing an Oil Cooler.

Thank you in advance for the reply's

All LQ4/9 trucks had that (or at least with the tow package). My 2002 1500HD has that OEM oil cooler. you can replace that with a passenger car version and vice versa. I do not know the techinical term for it, but the dealer should have them available.

Just run the factory block off of a F-Body. That is already plugged.
