Cam on stock converter.

Don't waste your time doing a cam swap if your gonna keep the factory verter. A stock cammed car responds VERY well to changing the stall speed. You could get yourself a small cam, and I mean it would have to be a SMALL cam, that could manage to work with the stock converter. Then someday your gonna come across the guy that has a 3500ish stall, stock cam, and he's gonna smoke your *** even though you have a bigger bumpstick.
I think I speak for all the knowledgable people on here when I say no converter, no aftermarket cam. Get a good stall and the bolt ons, then think cam. You will be amazed what a good converter will do for the SOTP and 1/4 et.
FWIW I had a TCI SSF3500 and I LOVED it. I was even gonna go bigger if I hadn't gotten bored with the auto and got rid of it for my current m6.
Don't take my post the wrong way, I'm just trying to help you out. Good luck and feel free to ask any questions you might have. Myself or the other fellas on here will be more than happy to help you pick out what's best for your application/goals.
It's a dog until 3750 and pulls against the converter at lights. Im just waiting for a time to put my 4000 stall in. I wouldn't reccomend the stock stall for anything larger than the cheaTR.
