They look really good from what I can see. Did you work on the short side radii any?

It looks like you removed a little material from the short side of the intake runner wall, is this accurate?

How about any flow numbers?

They look really nice.

what side of the runner are you calling the short side? I removed substantial material from the right side of the wall because that is where the rocker boss protrudes into the runner.

Anyone who has more experience with this than me can chime in. Maybe I should take some more material off the right side of the runner. It doesnt look like its opened up as much as the left side.

As far as the short side radius, these heads dont seem to have much of a radius. I did in fact smooth the entrance at the radius but these heads unlike SBC heads seem to roll off alot smoother. I guess thats because of the valve angle.

Your first post, last picture. That right wall, that's the one I was talking about. Just wondering if you made it a straighter shot into the cylinder. There's a chance that it can affect swirl and may result in poor RWHP even if it shows gains on the 'bench. Just wondering if you worked that part of the heads as it appears you did.

Do you have any flow numbers, dyno numbers, or track MPH?

They still look nice and I hope they flow well for you. I'm sure they will. I'm guessing that you have ported other heads before. That's based on the comment you made about SBC heads.

I worked that right wall. Whether I worked it enough is a matter of debate. It would only take a few minutes to open that side up some more. I really would like to see a cnc ported LS1 head in person to compare it to.

Well, the finish from the sandblaster is actually pretty smooth still but it leaves a satin finish. That may not look as good as the slick wall **** but it will probably work better on the intake side. Before I blasted them I had the exhaust slick and I may still go back and slick them out.

The sandblasting also evens out imperfections so it takes alot of work out of the job.

I thought it was a GREAT idea. I would polish the chamber and exhaust port too if I were you. When are you going to install them?
