I wouldnt use stock springs with the stock cam. That is one of the first things I did to my car- valve spring replacement(I went with the yellow springs). A buddy of mine had a TA M6 and put down 365rwhp with the stock heads and this is an average # that Ive seen on the board- some a little higher, some lower.

375hp/378tq
with longtubes, texas speed rumbler, lid, Ls6 intake manifold, LS1edit tune.
i have been unable to get a good run down the track because my clutch was giving up.

you're going to have to put new springs in with that cam. you can pick up some LS6 springs for fairly cheap.

I got 411hp/383tq with 1.8rr's and heads. It's been retuned and had more mods like
W/I and 30# SVO's. Waiting to redyno, but has alot more PULL from original dyno run.

I got 400/405 on my 383 with true duals, long tubes, ported heads, and 1.8 rockers through an A4 (with a very flat curve). If you are going to run 1.8's, I'd go with a better spring. The LS6 is rated to .550 and with 1.8's your lift should be @ .556 (if I figured it right). If you get some stronger springs, you'll be covered if you want to go to a bigger cam later on, too.

In my 1998 A4 with 120k miles, headers, cutouts, stock LS1 intake, I made 365hp and 362lbft. A friend of mine made 375hp and 374 lbft in his 2002 m6 with headers. I will always say the hotcam is a good camshaft.

yeah, getting rid of it would help... i gained 32 rwhp by swapping my Flowmaster out for a TSP Rumbler and removing the little JetHot cats from my headers.

I put down 374/371 with Jet Hot LT's, ORY, Lid, Hooker cat back, and a dyno tune.

The best time I've got so far was a 12.7@115 mph 2.1 60 foot.
