k my car has SLIGHT piston slap on start up and goes away, however I just got on it pretty good on the highway, reason being i wont be driving the car for 3 months...taking a little summer vacation to Parris Island
anyway on the way home my buddy asked what ticking noise was, it increase with rpm from idle and its pretty loud, im thinking valve train? car seems to run fine...any ideas guys?
I could try and get a sound clip with my cellphone...

You'll be happy you did a cam though, so it's a blessing in disguise. After installing my new cam, pushrods, and springs, the ticking went away. It's one of the best (if not THE best) mods you can do.

I went small, TR224 .563/.563 112LSA, but when I install my ported LS6 heads, I'll be using 1.8 rockers which will get my lift around .600, and PP .650 dual springs. It's all in my signature. I think the TR224 is a good compromise street cam. I've been very happy with it.
