Notching the pistons and all, I "should" be around 11.3.1 - 11.5.1 CR and I believe with the cam specs I gathered, the DCR is ~8.5-8.6... IF, I remember correctly.

I get 11.4 SCR and 8.56 DCR.

Very interested in your numbers. I'll be doing something similar except with a 112 LSA and with ETP 215s milled down a bit.

I always run 92 (thats all we have up here) anyway. Although, there are a few gas stations up here that sale 103 (I think thats what number it is) octane and I usually try to mix it in from time to time.

Yea, right by work the Shell has 110 & 103 as well. But, Im going to tune it with 92 due to the limited stations that have it. Dont want to get it tuned on the 110 then one day be forced (no other station around) and have to run 92 and get some tetanation and what not. Know what I mean?

Well, we will see what number she lays down tomorrow.

The flycuttin tool I rented from LGM (169 + shipping). Just a dummy head and the "Isky" tool (I think thats what they call it).

The back 4 (2 on each side) you need to get the 90 degree adapter, you can buy at any hardware store. I bought this bendable/90 degree piece that i made fit the cutting tool and it went smooth. I also cut out the AC box (have not used the AC in 2-3 years so i got rid of it) and patched the hole so I had PLENTY of room to get the passenger side.

Its not as hard as you might think. Just be prepared to take the dummy head of a 100 or so times and keep checking your depth so you dont over cut.

With your setup I am saying 420-430 should be close, unlocked

Dyno #'s on stalled Auto's don't mean much anyways. You'll run low 11's at the track easy with good tire.

That's pretty close to the setup I want, but I'm not sure on the heads yet...ETs or Darts.

Hey Waterbug,
Great job, should run great. Believe it or not my car is still down, I got caught up with a business venture I'm in the middle of, and haven't had the time to finish my install. Heads have been off, and I just put the light springs on again to check clearance. What were the specs you used on the cam so I can figure my compression with my 225's. Really interested in seeing what it puts down but more importantly what it does down the quarter.

Really good #'s man. You should be happy.

TQ through the locked auto will always be low. Unlocked your at like 400, unless you flash it.

If it matters for comparision my #'s were made with AFR 205's milled .024 and a 228 cam, no Fast/90 yet. I have a 3500 stall.

Congrats though, awesome.

Do you have some numbers starting off at 2K RPM? That would be a good comparison to some AFR 205's. Torque numbers seem low.

I have a 4K stall so I think you will see a big spike.

Not too bad for a 99,000 miles on the shortblock.. The tuner said he was picking up some knock so he did not put too much timing into it. If I can figure out where the knock is coming from, I am sure I can squeeze another 10-20 out of her..
