Default Heads up: AFR/Trick Flow/ET heads ** Jesel Rockers...

I pulled my rockers off and found that the center bolts that were supplied with the kit were about .050 too long. I never thought to check the main center bolts that mounts the shafts to the main mount. When we pulled the rockers the bottom of the bolts looked like they had bottomed out on the flat machined pad between the rocker mounting bolts. When we pulled the stand off, the heads had 4 circles where the bolts gouged into the cylinder heads. Pretty much any head that has a single flat area to bolt the rockers will have this problem. When I torqued them down they tightened up normally and looked like the shafts were secure. The bolts need to be shortened about .050

Thanks for the heads up, I'll deffinatlly measure mine upon install. Is this a problem with the Large bolts that hold the stand down and the bolts that secure the shafts?

I'll take some pics tonight. Its the large star bolt that holds the shafts down. The smaller 3/8" 12pt bolts seem fine.

The bolt in question holds the rocker stand down. They are recessed in the aluminum so the shafts for the rockers can lay flat on top of them, so no, you can't use washers. You'd figure for $1500 set of rockers that they'd be 100% correct.
