Christmas in June! (pics inside)
im gonna have to talk to Erik about this
Have you seen pics of the Katech C5R engine in the Compuware Corvette? It has a carbon fiber plenum box over a very similar setup.....me personally I would not run a setup like you are talking about with individual filters...they will be sitting directly over the headers and heat rises..especially in a street driver..heat soak and detonation(from the heat soaked air) will be a problem.
What kind of hood do you have? If I was gonna run a individual filter setup I would build a box type deal that would seal against the bottom of a cowl hood and pull cool air from the cowl area....otherwise Katech is a sponsor here ( Ithink) they would prolly help you on a C5R box or something similar.

If there came a point in which this manifold was not fitting or it was being a pain, I would look in that direction, but for now, I believe it's going to be the best thing for this application. Guys, the pics still work for me. Not sure why you can't see them????

Frankly nobody on the street can afford (or justify) an intake like the C5-R. That intake costs over $10,000. The C6.R intake is even more and is proprietary information and can't be sold. The closest thing is the Harrop Hurricane and that's over 4k.
