ls1howto.com has a great head and cam swap. And I would say there all prob pretty close out of the box, just the quality would differ. And it seem like the afrs flow little better than most if not all of them, with the etp close second than its a shoot out between ls6 cnc ported heads and patriots heads. But thats just my opinion.

Acturally the ETP's out flow the afr's but it is only a minor difference.
Both ETP and AFR have proven to be a step ahead of the LS1/LS6 ported castings.
Dart and Trick flow had enough results yet to see where their place will be.
IMO I believe the dart head will be in the top of the factory casting groupe, while ETP AFR and Trick flow all a step ahead.
I am not a huge elderbrock fan and they are way overpriced so I won't even add them in.

I like the ETP and AFR's. The ETP heads outflow the AFRs and allow for more PV clearance so that is a plus, however, AFR's have been proven again, and again, and again

The Darts are great for the price and what they are and will be even better (dare I say AFR and ETP territory?) if they ever offer a CNC version from the manufacturer (not from a certain sponsor).

The LS6 heads from Patriot and TSP are a great budget head if you want good power but don't want to spend a bunch of money (why wouldn't you though?).

Question: is there any competitive racing series where the ETs and AFRs go up against each other?

I haven't ever heard of one. There was supposed to be a back to back comparison of these heads, along with a few others, done by TSP. However, I think they got sidetracked with their new cams. I believe it comes down to personal preference and personal goals with each set of heads.

How 'bout those crazy ETs with the canted valves. Flow around 400cfm at 0.700" valve lift on the intake! Wow! Darts have good flow numbers too right out of the box and without cnc work
