metal inside ls6 intake manifold?

How could metal chunks off the piston and piston rings end up inside of the intake manifold on a ls6???

That's pretty much impossible short of a broken rod or a grenaded piston.

Intake valve opens and enters the intake. I grenaded a 7.4 big block and had piston ring peices all inside it.

I would think its possible, although, it probably takes a bit of luck (or lack thereof)

Hey Ive seen a washer move from cylinder to cylinder on a BBC. It scored 3 pistons (1 on an opposing side) before becoming lodged in one of the pistons.

Yup, I've seen it too. A v6 that had a washer dropped down the intake during a tune-up and the person working on it thought the noise was a lifter so he reved the **** out of it to try to get that "lifter" to pump up, well the washer went in and out of 5 cylinders and finally did enough damge to where it stopped running.
