Default ETP 215's VS TSP PRC 200cc Terminator Heads or others for a 346

Yeah I have a 02 z06 with a ms3 cam, long tubes, ud pulley, air intake, catback, tune. I want to stay n/a. So I hear that ET makes some of the best heads out there but I was wondering if there would be any difference in numbers between the ET 215's and the texas speed prc 200cc terminator heads? Which would be better to go with? I am trying to get over 500 to the wheels so keep that in mind. Also, I am not conscerned about $$, I just want the best possible hp/tq. Thanks guys.

If your shooting for 500 rw, then get the ETP 225's.

Question

Beast, since he has a 346 wouldn't it make more sense for him to go with the ETP 215?

The ETP 225 flow numbers on a 3.900 bore are the same as a ETP 215 on a 3.900 bore.

Didn't know the numbers were the same. If that is the case, then yea, the smaller runner should do better. Not quite sure why a 10cc bigger head would flow the same though. I'll have to go take a look at that.

Cary @ ET performance posted up the 225 numbers on a 3.900 bore here.

So I am still confused, which heads would be best for a stock cube 346....ET's 215's or 225's or afr's or terminators...?

Default What heads produce the best hp for a ls6 motor?

Yeah I am trying to figure what heads are best for my 02 z06, thus far I have kooks long tubes, varam intake, ms3 cam, borla stingers catback, underdrive pulley, tune. I want to get over 500 to the wheels all n/a. What would be the best heads to go with? $$ doesnt matter, I just want the best numbers.

The 15 degree heads are just a tick behind in power, and one in particular doesn't like Kooks headers, so you will need to go with one of the ET heads or the TFS heads. You will need BIG compression to make 500 RWHP, flycut pistons, Fast 90, etc.

I too am interested in how much power you make now, I know how much you can gain with the TFS heads and Fast intake, give me a call and let me take a shot at making the power you want.

Going with the ETP's will allow you to run higher compression without flycutting....I think as much as 12.5:1, but when C/R goes up it "usually" requires more octane or less timing.....

If money is no object I suggest the ETP with Jesel rocker arm setup, and you're gonna need the full assortment of bolt-ons including an EWP, and a fully ported Fast/TB(speak with Tony Mamo of AFR).......

Good luck!

Why dont you go with a already proven setup like TTP or Cartek. Both of these shops have cars in the 500RWHP range. Cartek has been building some of the fastest cars for many years now.
