cam only, 90/90 worth it?

Default cam only, 90/90 worth it?

for a cam with both sides 235 or smaller would a 90/90 set up be worth it?

or would a pp tb and ls6 im be ok

i gained peak hp but not in my powerband so it hurt me kinda

Without ported heads, the extra flow benefits of the FAST intake are pretty minimal unless you turn LOTS of rpm. Once you're running ported heads though, the FAST 90 is an essential component to making more hp.

i gained 30 rwhp, and 10 rwtq with a pulley, cutout, and fast 90 setup. I gained a good but from the cutout b/c of my **** *** exhaust, but I would think that i saw 10-15 rwhp, doubt i saw any tq though.

so a ported tb and ls6 im would be fine

Depending on what cam you go with, 400 rwhp will not be a problem with a ported tb and ls6, 400 rwtq will be very hard to achieve cam only, some people don't even see that with a h/c setup. Best of luck!

400 rwhp is achievable cam only, but exceeding 400 lb ft of torque is very difficult unless you have a cam that gives you sky high dynamic compression.

Around 400 rwhp yes, the tq would be good to be in the 380's. You have a 9" to, so its gonna be that much harder to get there. That 9" is gonna rob you of prob 8-15 hp if I am not mistaken. You may need to go just a bit bigger, but if you stick with Thunder, you will get closer to your cam only goal than you would with most others without having to go huge with the cam.

No benefit. think of it like this... your blowing air into a 3" tube thats connected to a 1" tube. your not going to get the same amount of air because the 1" tube is a bottle neck;it can only flow so much.

same concept.

You could buy some budget heads for less than what a 90/90 costs and have a little money left to put towards the LS6 intake.
