Are you using the same pushrods or did you need a differant length?

Take your hot lash numbers and subtract .010 from them and start cold. Measure the growth to hot and than you can set when you have a cold motor.

i have a solid roller on the car, and i need to valve lash the rockers with springs. if i am not mistaken, i have to use a filler gauge. long time ago Allen Futral showed me that i have to crank the engine to move the valve from closed position to open to set the rockers with the use of the filler gauge( hot or cold valve lash numbers).
that what i am trying to know how to set it

here is the way i learned when to check the lash on each valve.
I-C / E-O

I-C: when the Intake starts to Close that is when you lash the Exhaust

E-O: when the Exhaust starts to Open that is when you lash the Intake

thats what i am looking for.
basiclly what are you saying , you can adjest the intake and exhaust in the same time. taking to rockers in one chamber, that when the Intake is closed you will lash the exhaust and then the intake, and you move alone to the next chamber, am i right

yeah, the way we did it, we were turning the motor by hand (a breaker bar), and we'd would watch the rocker on the intake valve, when it would get to the top and just start coming down, we would lash the exhaust. then we would turn the motor over more until the exhaust just started opening, and lash the intake.
