Hi Bob last question from me on the subject here. I know you said it wont clear stock heads on a 110 lsa. What about with -2cc valve reliefs? If it would clear would I benefit on the low end better?

With reliefs, it would be fine. Plenty of room there. Want it on a 108?

That would be sick. Do you have a car that could be a test model for this.

Interesting, very interseting idea. How would it benefit me? I thought I read it would be better for torque down low but will take away from hp up top? I've still got 3 weeks before my engine is done but I'm guessing if I'm gonna custom order I should do it soon.

This is what I would run:

235/242 .646/.610 112+2 That is an additional good 10+ rwhp on the G5X3 with suporting combo and better under the curve

.646 lift is insane pred, I'm thinking about a 108 on x3 though with 4 degrees advance ground in. What do you think its charateristcs will be like? I'm trying to make the long duration more low end friendly.

That is where the LSK lobe on intake will come into play. What i did is just swap the XE-R intake for a LSK one.
I'm contemplating running that cam in my 370 ci (A4)
108+3 will definately bring the power on much earlier, but it will be peaky and might not benefit from 7000 rpm blasts.
But with 29* overlap that WILL be insane The VE.s look good, more exhaust biased. worth a try IMO

I have hardened 7.400 PR's . They came in the valvetrain upgrade kit from LG Motorsports when I bought the G5X3 cam.

Hey Lou,
What lifter do you recommend with the G5X3? Myself and a few others have had problems with stockers , comp replacement, and comp rs? Your shop told me that "people arent having as much problems with the Rs, but still some failures" Whats your opinion?

Thanks Paul

After considering everything I had LME work with someone and spec me out a cam for my car. Looking at my cars weight, gearing, n2o and how I want it to drive it they came up with something in the g5x2 range on a 112 lsa with 6xx lift. Not sure of the lobes. Its the best way to buy a cam but if I had to buy another off the shelf it would have been the x2 or x3.
