I have a GT2-4 on it's way from LPE. They told me that my stock LS6 springs would work fine with this cam. I know that they know much more than I do, but isn't .566 lift pushing the limits? My springs have all been checked and are still holding their new specs.

I think if you switch cams, then you should change the springs, just because the springs are a wear item. You might be able to get by with the stock springs, but the chances that you won't are higher than normal. Breaking a valve spring is potentially really expensive.

It is not only a matter of lifts, you have to look at the seat pressure of the cam. LPE lobes are lazy by todays maket. LS6 will work.
However, if you have a few miles on them, I would toss in a new bunch.

I just got my GT2-3 off the UPS truck today....I spoke with them last week and they tell me that my LS6 springs will work great...(They even sell a kit that includes the GT2-3 and the LS6 springs) This cam has .571/.578 lift...
