Default Maintence Question

Hello,

I have hit my revlimiter last night, and is it possible to pull the pushrods out of the car with out removing the motor. And if I do pull the valve covers off and I going to need gaskets.

After removing the push rod find s flat surface like a glass tabletop and roll them over it and you will see if any are bent. If any are go with a hardened push rod like a Manley or Comp.

You can but hitting the rev limiter should not harm anything, are you hearing any new noises?

Well, From what people are telling me, the noises my valvetrain is making is normal. And I have read that the LS1 valve trains are naturally noisy. I have just git the revlimiter a couple of times and got scared. I have purchased this car recently so I am still learning the ins and outs about it. Thank you for the help
