Default Floating Valve? Valvespring broke? I dont know! need help

I recently added a cam and headers and the car was running fine. Some issues with backpressure, since i was running no cats and an open cutout. But i went true duals and fixed that problem. Then i just added an ls6 manifold and its running fine. However, recently the car has been acting up. My 1-2 shift seems fine, but then my 2-3 shift acts up, when it reaches higher rpms around 5300+ the car seems to bog and want to cut fuel and when it reaches its shift point, theres a delay and theres popping sounds coming from the exhuast. Its really bad when im crusing on the highway and gun it, its a dog becuase of these bogging and delay, its hard to explain, and im haviing trouble trying to figure out what exactly it is. My friends are thinking i might have a floating valve?

sounds like a Bad miss fire to me. I had the same thing happen to me in V6 contour. I bet if you run a scan tool there will be a code there. When i had a miss in my other car (and it was a bad one it sounded like a 9mm was going off every few secs) there was no light but there was a code there. double check you plugs and wires first and run a scan tool

Check for KR. Sounds like a timing issue to me. When my Y pipe would hit the floorboard real hard the car would act just like you described.

Valve float would be intermittent, not constant.

As stated above, ohm the spark plug wires, and check the plugs for cracks in the porcelin, or bad electrodes. Sounds exactly like what I had. New wires fixed it. But ohm them first, that is definitely measurable.
