Price of Head Gaskets - WOW!

Why is the right head gasket only about $35 or so while the left side is $325 or so? Something special about the left side?

id double check with the vender yr looking at, my cometics were even way cheaper than that

I thought they are the same part number for both sides. The heads are the same part number.

Same part # for both sides...buy two of the cheap one...your parts guys is screwedup

LOL, and I thought BMW parts were expensive.
BTW, standard MLS gaskets will work on either side and typically run 25-45 for the set.

damn tell them to put some lube on it when they try to stick it in you

.. those guys are crazy both sides cost the same thing.. call another vender you should try ls1speed.com their a vendor in here you can get the new style gm high performance gasket their basically the same thing as the cometic but cheaper. i think they ran somewhere near $40 each.
