valve cover ???

Default valve cover ???

i have a 2000 z28 i swaped to the 317 heads i was almost finished but when i went to put the valve covers on last night i realized that the 317 heads are not center bolt like my stock heads. does anyone know where i can get some valve covers that will fit or if someone has some???

I think those heads are more common to truck engines LQ4 and LQ9's.. they have larger camber 72cc vs the LS1/2/6 64cc.

Question, why did you chose these heads ? Not sure but maybe the 97-98 LS1 valve cover might fit (anyone ?)

Some guys use them with Turbo or superchargers. If you have not ported, milled or modify them, I would expect to see a drop of HP/TQ.

They are 6.0l heads. I run them on my Z for nitrous.

they are really ported. not sure who ported them but he said a lil over 300 cfm. they have been milled quiet a bit too to bump the compression back up.

My 98 corvette are perimeter bolted.You would finds some easy on the corvette
forum.You would also be able to sell yours for more .That is if both cars valcovers are the same.If they are the same i would be interested in your centerbolt ones.

I think that the older iron 317's were perimeter bolts. The newer aluminum ones should all be center bolt.
