Default 10% or 25% UD Pulley for street C5?

Doing H/C and ordered a PowerBond 10% UD Pulley. Just wondering if I should have done the 25% UD?

Any thought/experience with either?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, they have one @ 10% reduction. I may send it back and get the 25%.

I got very little gains from my 25%, don't waste your money on a 10%!!

25% underdrive here, amp and subs, no capacitor, regular old battery, no problems here.

Makes me wonder if there is any real gain anyways with the UD pulleys.

Thanks. Tried to see what gains people were seeing for gains but search seems to have taken a vacation again!

Dave, I'd suspect very few people switch only the pulley (as a standalone job - especially with C5s), and even less would take the time to dyno before and after just to see what that one piece gains.

Get the 25%, you'll have no problems...and even if it doesn't gain much, it certainly doesn't hurt.

Mine goes on next weekend with the cam.

Tom:

Truth is I am pissed at myself for not ordering the 25% UD in the first place.

People actually have dyno'ed before and after with just the pulley. Once the search comes back up, look them up in the dyno section.

Just watching the weather at this point (and hoping the forecast changes).

Was planning on leaving very early Thurs. am, but may hit the road Wed afternoon if will help me dodge the rain.

I will be in Fl by Friday no matter what.

I dyno'ed before and after......very little gains!!!

They all add up but I can promise you, I sure as hell would never install another U/D pulley just to see what kind of results I get.
