Default ETP 225 installed height

Measured the installed height today and now understand why the pushrods are a different length from intake to exhaust.
Intake: 1.905
Pushrod: 8.100 pushrod
Final Installed height: 1.748

Exhaust: 1.920 - 8.150 pushrod
Pushrod: 8.150 pushrod
Final Installed height: 1.753

Is that the added length of pushrod needed? Of is that the added height of the rocker pedistol?

The pushrods needed to be 8.100 intake and 8.150 exhaust to get the swipe centered on the tip.

Is this the norm for all ETP heads?

I know that they require longer pushrods ranging from 7.9 and have seen up to 8.2. I was asking about the different size of the intake and the exhaust pushrods. Has anyone else check their final install height to see the difference?

Sorry...I didn't intend to sound condescending....

According to A@A 59cc ETP's require 8.100 intake and 8.125 exhaust. This is the PR setup that I have installed on my car. Unfortunately it has not been fired yet as I am anxiously awaiting the return of my ported Fast.

It was the norm with our older heads. We have reworked all of our valve tip heights over the last year on all of our heads to keep them as equal as possible. They should not require two different lengths anymore.

That's cool I didn't think that you came off sounding condescending. I just wanted a clear answer. What size cam did you end up using?

Cary is there a way you can find out if I have the new style or old style heads? I bought them from TSP back in March. I went over seas for awhile but now I'm back and about to start my install and just trying to find out all the info I can on your heads. Thanks
