More T1 Cam questions/ Help ! Getting ready to purchase a T1. car is a 01SS MN6 SLP long tubes, RT cats and Loudmouth.........What can I expect?.......Anything on the downside?......Thanks for looking! GM <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />

Re: More T1 Cam questions/ Help ! What are the specs on the T1. I have been racing with the GM ASA cam, which has only 525 lift, but LOTS of duration. It works great, but only on cars with no mufflers or cats. Next year we are running a 570" lift cam!

Re: More T1 Cam questions/ Help ! Holy chit! I have the T1, SLP Lt's (and cats) and only made 337 rwhp. Would custom tuning really add 50+hp. I can't believe that!
What am I doing wrong? They (dyno) even tuned the it with the MAFT.
OH-also, it fell off above 5800, so raising the rev limiter would do nothing for me.

Re: More T1 Cam questions/ Help ! Something is wrong with your setup. Have you autotapped it? It not you are in the blind with the maft.. B4 the Ed Wright tuning my peak was where the stock rev limiter stopped me.. The car dyno'd 378rwhp then. I had the pcm reprogrammed that same week. Rev limiter raised and the car jumped up to 390rwhp.. My autotap is showing everything is perfect right now.. I have never seen anyone dyno that low with the T1 cam. Have done anything with your TB or MAF? Those two things alone could cut power by a lot..

i have a T1 cam in my 00 ss and i just got mine tuned at conley and mine put down 340 hp to the wheels and 355 tq. i also have FLP LTs along with whisper lid and borla exhaust with a cutout. does that sound like it's right?? oh and what kind of gas milege do you get with T1 cam... cause i've been babying mine and only gettin 290 miles for a tank and i didn't think that could be right either. any suggestions??
The T1 kicks *** in my book !!! I had one with GTP heads SLP long tubes, and the other bolt-ons and it made 418.9 RWHP and 407.3 RWTQ with a 4.10 gear and 10 bolt the I went to a 12 bolt & 4.30's and had a HPP3 for the tune with a 7k raised limiter and the car ran a best of 11.43 @ 122.98 1.53 60" with a 3250 race weight with out me in it. Another buddy here in Fla had it and it was a cam only car and was running 11.8's in the mid upper 118's on 1.7 60's . a olde but a goodie in by book ! But the only draw back it didnt like the bottle to much but for a N/A cam it was great !!! My car liked the FMS F4 on a 114 that is another great mild cam that works great my car picked up 2 MPH with the F4 over the T1
