where did you mount your MAFT?
I've seen a few people like PSJ stuff it down in a corner...
I used double sided velcro and put it on the right side of the airbox...thats really the best place to have it unless you are trying to hide it...

I will take some pics and post soon...I got some wire tubing over it...covers all those ugly looking pink, yellow, and purple wires...looks pretty good now...
put mine on the right side of the lower air box as well. covered the wires in black tubing and removed the sticker from the box. ALMOST looks factory. hehehe.

That is exactly where I put mine. I also agree that the velcro mount works well for it - does on mine.
Why would you want to hide it? Because of that "off-raod use only" statement?

If I ever had to make a trip into the dealer for service I would just take it off...takes about 10 seconds...
the only reason why i took the sticker off of mine was because i didn' tlike the pink colors on the sticker, and the "horsepower in a box" statement was kind of dumb IMO. but oh well, and as for trying to hide it from a dealer, they know it's not stock, so the 10 minutes to remove it if THAT long is worth the time. more like 20 seconds for me. mainly hiding it for street racing purposes.

I just don't like the way it looks sitting out in the open up front. I'd rather it be out of sight. I'd take it off too if i had to go to the dealer. BTW, where is PSJ's mounted? is it down by the drivers side headlight?
OK, stupid question here.....
What is a MAFT??? I figure the MAF part is Mass Air Flow, I'm guessing the T is for Translator, because I remember hearing that somewhere before.
What is a MAFT, what does it do, how much does it cost???
Thanks guys!!!
Taco

I installed mine temporarily. I attached it to the lines coming out of the master cylinder with electrical ties. I know it sounds like a rig but I have no sheet metal to make any kind of bracket and Im not about to start drilling holes in my ride. I think I can utilize the holes where the bolt is for the ground wires on the drivers side of the lid. All I have to do is make some kind of bracket that doesnt look like a POS.
i just shoved mine somewhere near the brakes and fuses, dont even have the lid on it im gonna get some velcro tomorrow.
