PRC Heads and MS4 Are In *Pics and Vid*
Well it was a hell of a project. Took three thirteen hour days to complete it. Started saturday morning and she fired up on monday night. My eyes were glued to the oil pressure during startup. I had an absolute blast doing the build and a big thanks to my best friend for the help. I had all the necessary tools and parts so that made the build enjoyable. Plan on going to dyno it sometime soon because the car is very hard to drive. Constatnly wants to die when stopping. I have to brake with my left foot and keep it alive with my right. Anyway here are some pics and a vid at the end of the idle.
Here are the parts ready to go under the hood.
Some junk around the garage. Here you can see the traight pipes that I run sometimes.
On her way to a full strip
Some more junk
And the heads are off

Everything around cylinder #7 was a BITCH to do. The steering rack going through the LTs didnt help either. Some emotions are expressed.
Gasket gunk was pretty easy to clean. The bolt holes took forever. Probably an hour per side to make sure there was nothing in them.
Here she sits naked.

The MS4 can make many men jelous (Photoshop away everyone)
Rollmaster is on and the housing of the oil pump. I took the oil pump apart and ported it. Plus its a lot easier to bolt up the pickup tube this way (which is absolute hell either way). Also leaved plenty of room to allign the pump around the crank snout.

Here you can see the PowerBond underdrive pulley. Its a 25% underdrive and I think I may be one of the first to use it on a GTO. Very fine piece of material.
My garage still looks like this. I am way to lazy to clean all that up.
PRC LS6 heads are on. Its a shame to cover those beautiful dual springs.
This is the first start up. The only thing thats attached is the intake and MAF. Wanted to make sure we got oil pressure before we buttoned it all up.
And here is a short video of the cold idle. The car is so much louder compared to how it was when I had the TR224. Absolutely sick.

Thanks to all. I went with the 111 LSA and yes this is my daily. I havent got on it yet because I still have the stock injectors in and I get KR when Im anywhere near half throttle. So Im goingt o wait for a tune. Just waiting on Formato to call me back. This is my first big cam and I must say drives perfectly fine especially being untuned and in such a heavy car. I do need more throttle to get it going or blip it to like 2K but thats no big deal. But so far just from regular driving I can feel the power difference at around 2200 RPM, just like they advertised.
