O2 simm's Question
Ok when I install my headers I am going to remove the AIR and EGR so from what I understand I will get an SES light right? Well I was about to purchase 02 simms but then I thought I better ask yall this first. Since I will allready have an SES light from the AIR / EGR removal should I get the 02 simms? If all they do is prevent a SES light then what good will they do me? If I don't run cats and don't have 02 simms will my car mess up? Will it still perform the way it should?
Please Help,

From what I understand Marty is that your a/f is gonna be messed up without the simms.
I have run with the simms for about a year now without no SES codes.
If you get custom progrmming done you can delete these sensors.
Peace,
Craig.

Incorrect, not having O2 simms WILL NOT cause the fuel/air mixture to be off. The only thing that O2 simms do is keep the light off of your dash so if you're going to have the light on anyway the O2 simms will be serving absolutely no purpose.
The Colonel is correct. The rear O2 are only there for emission purposes (to determine whether or not the catalytic convertor is working properly). Don't get them if you are going to have the check engine light on anyhow.
The front O2 sensors must stay hooked up and working at all times. Under no circumstance would you want to disconnect them and install O2 simms there.

I know you have to have them, but I was thinking if the front ones were throwing codes you're in trouble.
Peace,
Craig.

You're right. If one of the front ones start throwing codes your fuel/air mixture will go in the gutter. Then it's time for a new one.
