Its not the plugs its your tune. Even with a 100 shot, I would still pull 2 to 4 degrees of timing out. Just to be safe. A 100 shot can still **** a motor up even if it has forged stuff in it. If you run NGK's try and find a plug two steps colder than factory ****. It should help. Good luck mang!

I run TR6 on 11.75:1 with a 100 shot but 24* max timing (98 octane).
As mentionned, it is not the plug, tune it and add race gas if necessary.

Well, i'm in a bad situation then. I usually run my car on motor, so i wanted to get the max amount of power out of it N/A since i rarely spray.

I wish i could control my own tune

How many steps colder are those autolites?

And is that an NGK TR8?

i run a 103 on my nitrous setup. MUCH better than a NGK plug IMO. my car would miss and sputter and wouldnt run on a TR6 until the motor was completely warm.
104 be a lil cool unless you wanted to step up to a 200+, then youll need a 104.
good luck.

lol @ that one.

I used to run a 104 AL in my GTP with a crazy methanol injection kit. Kept my KR at bay. (3.2" pulley, around 13lbs of boost, stock bottom end) But then one day.. motor went boom. I think the pump **** the bed, but I never did figure it out. Sold the car about a week later to someone who just crashed their car in NJ. Hes now running that GTP faster than my fbody runs.. something like 11.2 @ 112.

Oh, yeah the autolites were good plugs

what else do you need to know?
other than NGK and autolite, i dont know of any plug worthy going in a ls1 modded motor, or one that will see any kinda cylinder pressure (boost, nitrous...etc.....)

I thought that NGK was polar opposite to everyone else as concerned to numbering and heat ranges on their plugs. Mustn't the 103s be colder?
