simple cam swap in LS1, what to go with
he wants something that is fairly streetable, however its not his DD, he also wants a good lope, something that will pull close to the stock RPM range, nothing too crazy and something that can be done for a not too rediculous price.
what cam would you guys recommend for something like what im explaining, and what else would need to be changed with the cam swap? he is also ready to drop the cash for a tune, maybe even a full dyno tune.
a guy i know put a used cam in his LS1 and only installed new valve springs. is it this simple or what is the deal with these? im an LT1 guy so this is all new to me.hehe,thanks for any help.
Who built the block, is it forged, what are the cubes, what heads are going on it?
6 speed, centerforce clutch
12 bolt Moser with 3.73s, full weight car and some BMR suspension stuff.
ill look into some of those specs and available cams, anyone else have some off the shelf cams that perform awesomely and know what else will need to be installed with one? thanks guys.

would that TSP package be all that was needed to do the swap, obviously besides gaskets and such? thanks to all replies.
or any 224 cam can also produce good numbers and be perfect for street applications...but i would suggest going with the Torquer v2. goodluck.
