Actually the red is the best color for not blinding you at night. Why do you think they use it for doing night maneuvers in the military and on traffic lights. You can see it very well, but it doesn't blind you to where it hampers your night vision.

Is anyone else still having a problem with it coming on occasionally when their wipers are on? I had the second version which was supposed to have addressed this, but every once and a while it comes on when I'm cruising at about 1800 rpm and the wipers are on delay.

Who knows....

You're right on red being the best color for night racing, much better than the yellow or green.

I've had the light go off with the wipers, but only on the mist setting. Kinda weird, but it doesn't bother me. I also have the second version.

My light does the same thing. When I turn on my wipers, when I roll down both windows at the same time with the lights on at idle, when my air pump kicks on at idle also. Is there a good place to put the red wire? Mine is currently in the accsy port in the fuse panel.

Also I have some good picks of the install that a friend and I did on my 02 T/A. We put it in the middle set of vents in to one closest to the driver. We used the placstic clip that holds the throttle cables to the A/C line on a car with TCS. We put a small piece of thread all and 2 nuts on it so you can adjust the height and angle of the light. Everyone that has seen the install now wants me to do theirs just the same. I might just have to email them to someone that can post them on an install site.

Actually, when it rains the light flashes for no reason once in a while. I guess when it rains I have my wipers on.... so yeah.... it has happened to me too.

What could be the reason for this. I have check the connections to the pcm rpm wire, and it is water tight. Very confusing.
