ok ive read multiple threads now about people contradicting eachother on rocker assembly, ok this weekend i did a PR check and all were great but on install I just used loctite on the bottom of the head on the intake bolts, I now know that this is only necessary for ported heads but I noticed there is factory loctite on the bolt heads as well but should I have put sealer or loctite on the threads, I am not driving it anymore due to the fact that Im parrinoid Ill probably pull the cover and fix it but do I loctite the threads or use sealer or is it really nothing to worry about, I would just hate my rocker bolt to back out....anybody please?

I've never used loctite. I have only seen one set of rocker bolts back off and it was on a solid roller setup w/ T&D shaft rockers on my cousins car. I torqued them to 22 Ft/lbs and they never backed out again.(I did not assemble the first time) You could clearly hear the excess valve lash due to the loose bolts and he drove it for 200 miles that way. When I took the valve covers off the bolts were a long way from falling out. So even if the bolts do come loose you will know long before any damage would occur. But in my opinion it's not gonna happen, loctite or no loctite.

I did not use any either. I read about it on here and i think its just a personal preferance thing. Some do, some dont, like 5.3LJimmy said you will know if they come loose long before they will cause any major damage.
