Small Engine Mod, Got The SLP Bellows Kit, Pretty Nice
Every little bit of HP helps.
Here is a picture...
I definitely like that look of that. How much is it?

$59.90 with shipping. The little bump in the center is just right for flexing.
Bet you guys didn't know that the "Fernco Mod" was originally called the "NineBall intake mod" did you? Just a little history.

Fernco is the company that makes the adapters. Nine Ball was the one who pioneered the mod.

I don't see how that would be any better than a stock bellows, other than looking better. It still has a ridge in the middle, so I don't there would be any power increase, even the slightest. However it does look really good!

A lot less ripples means smoother (less resistance) for the air to flow into the engine.
I agree, this is not a mod you can feel. I am sure it helps slightly.
I really like the looks.
I'll probably end up getting one sometime. I like the way it looks. Do they come in different colors? I looked on the SLP site but didn't see anything about other colors.
Back in 96, when I was ordering my 97 LT1 Ramair TA, and hanging out with the MidAtlantic F-body Association (MAFBA), the Fernco Coupler was a "first day" mod, similar to removing the SLP Cone Of Silence.
I believe I heard of the Fernco Coupler from a fellow from Virginia named Randy who had a great red Vortech-ed Formula.
Just a little history ;-) I think that Nineball was a Mustang guy back then........Right Tony?

As for the Fernco on the LT1 cars, I have no idea about LT1 cars and their use. I just know that nobody with an LS1 had thought of the idea when I figured it out. I discovered the Fernco couplers by accident at Home Depot when the lightbulb popped on haha.
